The Lucas County GIS Technical Advisory
Committee (GTAC) was established with the assistance of the Lucas County
Auditor's Real EstateDivision GIS and the Lucas County Information Services
(LCIS) Department. It is the goal of the organization to coordinate geographic information activities, facilitate the orderly
exchange between participating organizations, assist in coordinating joint GIS data collection or conversion
projects, leverage existing knowledge and data assets, promote a strategic investment and use of GIS technology,
and develop education and training opportunities. Meetings are held quarterly to discuss issues, projects and
goals of the organization.
