Independent Study Program

The FEMA-DHS Independent Study program currently consists of thirty-nine courses. ENROLLMENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC but is limited to one course at a time. Applicants have up to one year to complete each self-paced course, but usually require between 10-12 hours per course. Participants who score 75% or better are issued a certificate. College credits or military points may be obtained for most courses. The following is a partial list of current courses.
