Unfortunately, very little is known about our seventh Lucas County prosecutor, William H. Hall.
He was an active member of the Whig party, being elected Secretary of the Whig County Convention
in 1845. Records show that he was a resident of Maumee, Ohio and that he was a member of the
practicing Lucas County bar in 1851. [Waggoner, Clark, Memoirs of Toledo and Lucas County, Vol.
2, p. 519].
Hall served as Lucas County Prosecutor for two terms, from 1847-1851, after which he resumed a
successful law practice.
