Michael J. Beazley

Michael J. Beazley was named Lucas County Administrator in January of 2005.
Mr. Beazley has served in a variety of administrative and leadership positions with Lucas County and the City of Toledo over the past 25 years. Mr. Beazley has served as Director and Chair or the Lucas County Board of Elections, and as an Assistant Director of Law, and Clerk of Council for the City of Toledo.
Mr. Beazley received both his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Toledo. He is active with the University Of Toledo Department Of Political Science and has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in State and Local Government, Political Leadership, Municipal Government Law, and Political Parties.
Bridgette Kabat

Bridgette Kabat was appointed Assistant Lucas County Administrator in December 2005. Ms. Kabat is responsible for assisting the County Administrator in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Lucas County.
Ms. Kabat has served the Board of County Commissioners in a number of capacities over the past 13 years, most recently, as Assistant Director of the Office of Management and Budget.
She had a leadership role in preparing and monitoring the annual appropriations budget of over $570 million dollars.
Ms. Kabat received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo in 1991. She has also obtained the designation of "Certified Public Financial Officer" from the Government Finance Officers Association.
