The Toledo – Lucas County Health Department is seeking candidates for the following positions: (You may click on the Job Title for a full position description)
- Part-time (19 hrs/wk) Licensed Social Worker to work in Health Services Division. The qualified individual will assist and counsel patients and families with financial, social and emotional concerns as well as provide social work services in accordance with the patient's plan of treatment. They will also continually assess/reassess social and emotional factors in order to help the patient and family to cope with problems in daily living and help them follow medical recommendations to maximize the patient's health condition. A Bachelor's degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education is required and the applicant must be licensed as a social worker in the state of Ohio.
- Part-time (19 hrs/wk) Certified Medical Assistant to work in the WIC Program. Applicants must have experience in medical record management, computer scheduling, typing, and anthropometrics.
****Please note that health benefits are not offered for 19hrs/wk positions****
